Nurse Aide I
This State approved class prepares the student to perform basic nursing skills including vital signs, assisting with hygiene, feeding, infection control practices, elimination, positioning, and so much more. This program utilizes lecture, lab and clinical experiences.
Successful completion of this program allows the individual to take the NC Nurse
Aide I State exam to be listed on the NC Nurse Aide I Registry.
Nurse Aide I Hybrid
This State approved program contains all of the same information as the Nurse Aide I program but without all of the classroom time. A portion of the lecture time is done in an online classroom. Students will participate in online discussion boards, online lectures, and access online quizzes. The student will still attend class for some lecture, lab, and clinical experiences. Successful completion of this program allows the individual to take the NC Nurse Aide I State exam to be listed on the NC Nurse Aide I Registry.
Total Hours (for both programs): 122
Course Fee: $475 includes background check, drug screen, student insurance, and AHA BLS (CPR) Certification.
Prerequisites for registration are:
A copy of one of the following : High School transcripts, College Transcripts, GED, or Equivalency
Proof of immunizations: MMR, Tetanus, Hep B, TB Test in the last year,

Nurse Aide I Refresher
This State approved program contains all of the same information as the Nurse Aide I program but without all of the classroom time. A portion of the lecture time is done in an online classroom. Students will participate in online discussion boards, online lectures, and access online quizzes. The student will still attend class for some lecture, lab, and clinical experiences. Successful completion of this program allows the individual to take the NC Nurse Aide I State exam to be listed on the NC Nurse Aide I Registry.

Eligibility requirements for registration are:
Must have a high school transcript, GED, or equivalent
And one of the following:
Must have completed a State approved Nurse Aide I class in any state and the listing must have expired within the last 2 years, or the class must have been taken within the last 2 years if you have never taken the State exam.

Naval Hospital Corpsman and active duty within the last 2 years.
We require proof of state approved training, so you will need to provide a certificate of completion or a transcript demonstrating graduation.
